Oxford VR

Promoting an innovative therapy to help isolated patients get their lives back

“The animation was brilliant. Everyone has been saying it is a cut above and the word ‘fresh’ has cropped up a lot.”

— Professor Daniel Freeman, Department of Experimental Psychology, University of Oxford

Animation

GameChangeVR is an innovative virtual reality-based therapy, designed to help people with psychosis who are experiencing social isolation.

Its creators, Oxford VR, a spin-out from the University of Oxford’s Psychiatry Department, wanted an animation to promote the findings from its large-scale clinical trial, which were about to be published in the Lancet Psychiatry.

We created this paper cutout style animation, which was sent out to healthcare professionals around the UK to raise awareness about the GameChange VR therapy. The video also featured in an article in the Guardian newspaper’s digital edition.
