Client: Cambridge University Department of Plant Sciences/Food UnFolded
A rising world population means we’ll need more food in the coming years. But much of our food relies on insect pollination, and insects are in decline around the world. Can we make flowers better at being pollinated, to help solve this problem?
Impact: The video was picked up by Cambridge University’s communications team and selected to feature on the university’s main YouTube channel with over 250,000 subscribers.
Showcasing humanities research that’s situated at the point where storytelling and spandex meet!
Client: Dr Claire Warden, University of Loughborough
This is the story of how a performing arts academic took her fascination with British professional wrestling and turned it into an opportunity to engage audiences with humanities research by hosting rowdy wrestling events at arts centers around the UK.
Impact: The film was selected to be shown at the 2018 Burning Hammer festival - a film festival dedicated to telling stories from the world of pro-wrestling - where hundreds of fans had the chance to watch the film and attend a Q+A with Claire Warden.

Client: The Wellcome Centre for Mitochondrial Research
The team at the Wellcome Centre for Mitochondrial Research have developed a pioneering fertility treatment for women with mitochondrial disease who want to start a family without risking passing on the disease to their children. This short documentary video tells the story of one such woman - Hannah.
Impact: The video has been used by the Wellcome Centre to alert potential donors to their need for eggs in order to give women like Hannah the chance of having children of their own.
